BALANCE - Each serving contains over 200mg of natural dried ginger, the optimal amount to help alleviate symptoms of gastrointestinal stress and calm the prevalence of nausea.

FUEL - Each serving contains 32.5g of carbohydrate in the form of unbleached cane sugar. Cane sugar is a lower GI index carb and is a slower burn fuel compared to other carbs such as maltodextrin, glucose and fructose. Slower burn carbs will help sustain you for longer and help avoid sugar highs and crashes. We also use unbleached cane sugar as it is more natural, chemical free and less unadulterated form of fuel compared to the other synthetic factory made carbs mentioned above. Click here for more info
HYDRATE - Each serving contains 400mg of sea salt.
Salt helps aid with re-hydration of water into the body. Sea salt also retains essential elements magnesium, chloride and potassium. These elements help maintain the balance of electrolytes in our bodies which are essential for normal function of our cells and our organs. Click here for more info
TASTE -
Original Ginger - Not too sweet or spicy, the natural blend of ginger and citrus creates a refreshing and unique flavour.
Green Tea and Ginger - Active Root Green Tea & Ginger sports drink delivers a refreshing, light and slightly earthy taste, great towards the end of races or when you want a less sweet flavour option. As with all Active Root products, Green Tea and Ginger contains the optimum amount of ginger to keep your stomach settled and prevent bloating.
Peppermint & Ginger - Out of our three flavours, Peppermint is definitely the least gingery. Peppermint has a cool, refreshing, naturally minty taste that combines well with the warmth of ginger.
DIRECTIONS - Using the scoop included in the tub, mix and shake one 35g level scoop of Active Root into 500ml-700ml of water to create your own drink. Adjust quantity of mix for the intensity of exercise you are undertaking. Customisable and great tasting.

Cane sugar blend (Natural disaccharide, 50%, Glucose, 50% Fructose), Citric Acid, Sea Salt, Ginger Root Extract
Please note, due to the natural ingredients in Active Root it is perfectly normal to find occasional small dark sugar molasses and particles of ginger fibre. When shaken the particles will mostly dissolve into your drink.
